Hi – does the soil fence allow worms to come up into the compost?
Your question is waiting for the answer.
Can this be used to compost cooked food waste, or only garden waste, veg peelings, etc? Thank you.
Hi Rosie,
Our thermo wood compost bin can only be used to compost garden waste veg peeling and more can also be included.
Thanks,
Gerty
Is the soil fence the plastic sieve accessory that goes at the bottom of the composter ?
Good afternoon,
Yes soil fence is to be placed under the composter for a layer of protection from any rodents.
Thanks,
Gerty.
I lost one of the top lids during storm Eunice, is it possible to buy a replacement? I don’t want to replace the whole bin which is in good shape
Hi Paola,
Please could you send over details of lid that’s require to info@garantiauk.co.u and we will be able to take it form there for you.
Thanks,
Gerty
Apologies just saw it does include the fence. Another question? is the Thermo-wood BPA free? Morag
Good morning Morag,
Unfortunately we cannot certify that thermo-wood is BPA free, this doesn’t necessarily mean that there is any significant amount of bisphenol is the material but we do not have certification that it is BPA free. However, this is usually only a concern for anything to do with drinking water.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Gerty
Do I need to buy a soil fence for the Thermo Wood Compost bin?
